Abstract

At the present time the problem of improving the environmental friendliness of cars is urgent. With the advent of new technologies and devices, it becomes possible to more accurately assess the performance of a car, as well as their relationship with each other. One of the most important indicators is fuel consumption. Experiments were carried out to determine the relationship between fuel consumption and tire pressure, as well as to select the optimal pressure. The article presents descriptions of these experiments carried out using modern equipment on a Renault Fluence car.

Abstract

The performance and functioning of the traction battery (TAB) is the most important issue considered when designing an electrified vehicle. In a modern electric car, there are a number of systems that ensure the maintenance of the characteristics of the TAB. Namely, the key role is played by the temperature control system, which maintains a normal temperature regime. This system can be both air and liquid. The authors note that the liquid one is more efficient in terms of heat transfer and allows you to get the most stable temperature regime. In order to determine the optimal parameters of hydraulic resistance and mass flow, the approach of applying the finite element method of calculation is considered. The article considers a model for calculating the hydraulic resistance of a heat exchanger, which allows calculating the parameters of the TAB thermal control system. As a result of the analysis, the authors come to the conclusion that this model allows us to obtain the necessary data that allow us to judge the design of the elements of the thermal control system. It is also noted that for the most complete calculation, it is necessary to conduct a simulation of the thermal state of the batteries.

Abstract

The territory of the Russian Federation is characterized by significant differences in the conditions of soil freezing. The design of both rigid and flexible road pavements is carried out in accordance with various regulatory documents, but their testing for resistance to frost heaving is unified. The average depth of soil freezing is usually assigned in accordance with the normative map of isolines of average freezing depths, which is quite generalized and does not take into account possible sharp climatic changes within one region of the country or a subject of the Russian Federation. The article presents the results of a computational experiment, during which discrepancies in the technical and economic indicators of road pavements were established when using data from regulatory documents for the design of road pavements and obtained on the basis of an analysis of territorial norms for building climatology (for example, the Republic of Bashkortostan). The article continues a series of publications on problematic issues arising when checking road pavements for frost resistancens.

Abstract

The article discusses programs of state support for demand for: The article discusses programs of state support for demand for new vehicles. The mechanisms of support for buyers of new cars in the context of the current decline in sales are analyzed. The conditions of preferential programs designed for various categories of consumers are being considered. The analysis of various programs of subsidizing loans shows that they are in demand by buyers in the current economic conditions. The use of these programs contributes to the realization of up to 1/5 of the sales of new passenger vehicles in the total sales volume for the year. Support for manufacturers who have located their production facilities in the Russian Federation, which provide jobs, tax revenues, is one of the measures to stabilize the current situation in the economy, but the main methods of increasing consumer demand should be aimed not at producers, but at consumers, to increase household income.

Abstract

The article considers the key directions of using innovative methods of road construction and their impact on improving the efficiency of the Russian economy. Digital technologies used in the design of highways and modeling of their life cycle are indicated. An assessment of the innovations used in the construction of roads is given, examples of innovative roadway materials are given, and promising projects in the road segment are compared. The factors that hinder the innovative development of the road economy are formulated. Special attention is paid to identifying critical points that determine intelligent road transport solutions. Conclusions are drawn about the need to use advanced foreign experience in the construction of highways.

The logical result of the study was the conclusion that for the effective implementation of innovations in the field of road construction, it is necessary to improve the regulatory framework, improve the skills of designers and the competence of contractors, change the criteria for calculating the integrated economic efficiency of road construction and operation.

Abstract

The article considers one of the possible methodological approaches to determining the degree of influence of floods on the transport and operational condition of both individual road structures and the road network as a whole. Algorithms and examples of calculations of socio-economic losses from flooding of road infrastructure objects are given on specific examples. It is shown that significant damage from flooding of highways can be eliminated or significantly reduced if the proposed methods for assessing their consequences are taken into account when designing the parameters of structures.

Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of doing business in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic for enterprises of the automotive industry. The article details the work of car dealerships and salons in the context of the pandemic, provides statistics on the structure of sales of passenger cars in Russia until 2019, 2020 by federal districts, and also provides statistics on sales of passenger cars in Europe: in Germany, France, Great Britain, and Italy. The data on the analysis for the best-selling brands in the Russian Federation are given. The material of the article describes the financial difficulties of car dealerships and car service stations during the pandemic in conditions of economic uncertainty.

Abstract

The article raises the question of finding means of increasing the motivation of students to regularly engage in physical activity and sports. The author conducted a study using the method of expert assessments. Senior lecturers and associate professors of the departments of physical education of three technical universities acted as experts. According to the results of the survey of experts using the questionnaire method, the author concludes that it is possible to use the All-Russian sports complex «TRP» as a means of motivating students of higher educational institutions to regular physical activity.

This article outlines the multifaceted problem of training engineering personnel in a pandemic, associated with a forced, abrupt transition to online training. In this context, the authors of the article propose to reflect on the issue of reducing the traditionally inherent in domestic higher education, including technical, educational and socializing functions. This is due to the modern specifics of distance learning, which involves, first of all, the emphasis on mastering disciplines and passing tests and exams in subjects within the curriculum.

Abstract

In this age of psychological stress, we must learn to own ourselves. Psychologists note that the most stable people, both in the profession and in personal life, are people who have learned to own themselves, have a developed psychotechnology of personal self-regulation, that is, an optimal level of stress resistance. And it is also necessary to consider the fact that frequent stresses can lead to the depletion of the body’s adaptive protective system, which in turn can cause psychosomatic diseases. In this regard, our study focuses on the definition and justification of methods and means of forming the optimal level of stress tolerance in MADI students.

Abstract

This article is devoted to determining the stages of the implementation of an additional educational program designed to train the participants of the Formula Student project, with the aim of forming their foreign language communicative competence.

Particular attention is paid to the definition of the goals and content of the training, which made it possible to draw up a curriculum for the course. So, in the process of training under this program, attention is paid to the development of lexical and grammatical skills, that is, receptive and reproductive skills of adequate use of commonly used vocabulary and grammatical models, including terminological vocabulary. The development of grammar skills involves the formation of reproductive grammar skills of structuring oral utterance in the form of a presentation.

The article highlights the main approaches to the development of educational and methodological support necessary for the implementation of an additional course in English. In order to achieve good results in completing an additional course within the framework of the developed technology, the scope of the English language by the students, the types of activities they perform in this field, the type of organization, the need for using the English language were determined. The international competition "Formula Student" is largely consistent with international organizations whose activities are fully carried out in English in a foreign language environment. The set of training tasks was specified and minimized, which was reflected in the article.
