Abstract
The movement of a car is a complex movement, including, among other things, the vibrations of all major parts of the car and even their vibration. Vibration leads to deformations of vehicle parts and affects the well-being of the person driving this vehicle. Poor wheel balancing can be one of the causes of vibration. The smooth running of the vehicle, its handling and driving safety depend on the condition of the tires. Deformation of tires can cause by their incorrect centering relative to the main axis of rotation of the wheel, passing through its center of mass, that is, imbalance. The imbalance in the tires causes centrifugal forces, which cause shock to the wheels. This article discusses the options for the occurrence of imbalance in the wheel, provides calculations of the impact force of the imbalance and describes the actions to eliminate it. It is shown that a situation is possible when the impact force of static and dynamic imbalance is practically equal in magnitude, and in this case, to eliminate the imbalance, it is sufficient to carry out dynamic wheel balancing.

Abstract
One of the important indicators in the road construction industry is the future traffic intensity. There are several approaches to its assessment, but they do not allow taking into account the peculiarities of traffic on certain sections of the road, the economic situation in the region, and others. The article presents an analysis of the dynamics of changes in traffic intensity. The work was carried out on the example of federal roads of the Altai Territory: P-256 «Chuysky Trakt » Novosibirsk - Biysk - Barnaul - Gorno-Altaisk - border with Mongolia, P-256 «Chuysky Trakt» Approach to the city of Barnaul, A-322 Barnaul - Rubtsovsk - border with the Republic of Kazakhstan. For the study, 4 sensors were selected, according to which the average daily mean annual values of traffic intensity were obtained in the period from 2015 to 2019. Based on the analysis of distributions, traffic conditions (suburban, suburban mode), assumptions were made about the trends of further changes in traffic intensity. The necessity of dividing roads into segments, taking into account the peculiarities of the movement, was confirmed.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the current topic of designing drainage system for receiving and discharging water from ground catchment areas. The calculation is based on the parameter – the time of runoff formation when precipitation falls on ground surface. The value of this parameter depends on the intensity of precipitation on the ground surface, as well as on such parameters as the intensity of water absorption into ground. The existing dependence of determining the time of runoff formation gives contradictory results. When an increase in precipitation intensity and a decrease in absorption intensity the runoff time increases according to the existing relationship. The article deals with the issues of runoff formation on ground surfaces of airfields, determines the factors that affect the amount of runoff time. It is proposed to take into account the value of the critical water layer after exceeding which the runoff begins. A formula for determining the runoff time is proposed.

Abstract
At the maintenance stage of operation of roads for various reasons, it is necessary to carry out major repairs of pavement. The most common way to restore the strength of pavements in practice is to strengthen them: laying new ones or replacing existing upper layers, in most cases of asphalt concrete. The thickness of the reinforcement layers is calculated on the basis of information about the actual and required general elastic moduli of flexible pavements. The article gives an overview of the models for recalculating elastic deflections obtained by the installations of the static and dynamic loading principle. The results of a computational experiment to determine the thicknesses of the gain layers according to an industry normative document based on information on actual dynamic elastic deflections are presented and compared. A proposition has been made and substantiated that the actual durability of flexible pavements is incorrectly estimated by the settings of the static principle of operation, since when designing flexible pavements, the design scheme with dynamic characteristics is.

Abstract
Automotive thermoanemometric sensors of mass air flow are simple and compact, but have a number of disadvantages, such as the sensitivity of the measuring element to contamination and a strong dependence of the readings on air humidity. This causes the electronic control unit to incorrectly calculate the duration of fuel injection. The proposed sensor is designed to measure the mass flow of air entering the car engine during bench tests. It is compact and highly accurate. The operation of this sensor is based on a directly proportional relationship between the torque of a straight-blade cylindrical impeller installed in a moving medium and the mass flow rate.

Abstract
The most important vehicle properties that are affected by the quality of steering design are agility, handling and stability. Maneuverability is characterized by curvilinear movement with small turning radii at low speed, while controllability and stability are manifested mainly during emergency maneuvers at high speed. High maneuverability is important in difficult urban conditions, when driving in heavy traffic and when parking. The maneuverability of special-purpose vehicles is characterized by such parameters as the minimum deviation of the trajectories of the main point of the tractor and the characteristic point of the semi-trailer, the minimum turning radius and the width of the lane. The controllability and stability of special-purpose articulated vehicles substantially depends on the law of steering the wheels of the trailer link. Steering angles also have a significant impact on handling. Prediction of the listed properties depends on the steering parameters, in particular, on its gear ratio. At the same time, the layout of special-purpose tractors assumes the location of the cab in front of the front axle, therefore, the steering drive includes a steering mechanism with an output link of a rotary type and a longitudinal rod connecting the bipod with the swivel arm of the front left wheel. Steering control design provides for kinematic, power, dynamic and strength types of calculation, as well as calculation of the amplifier, if available. Traditionally, the determination of the gear ratio is carried out within the framework of kinematic and dynamic calculations by the geometric, vector or analytical method. However, all three methods are rather laborious and have low accuracy, especially when solving a spatial problem. In this study, the author has developed a coordinate-iterative method for selecting the parameters of the steering drive and calculating the angles of rotation of the steered wheels in a three-dimensional coordinate system.
