Abstract
In the present article, a comparative analysis of the manufacturability of various methods of protecting engineering products used in the manufacture and repair of corrosion is carried out. The properties and technological features of coating deposition, providing corrosion resistance of machine parts, are revealed. On the basis of the obtained data, the results of the analysis of factors influencing the choice of the optimal method of applying a protective coating were presented, which should provide not only protection from environmental exposure, but also reduce the likelihood of failures, both of individual elements and of the technical system as a whole. Particular attention was paid to identifying the benefits of using phosphate coatings based on water suspension. Continuous improvement of the compositions used for phosphating, increasing their anti-corrosion properties, and most importantly the simplicity of their application, provides a real possibility of applying this type of protective coatings both under production conditions and under repair conditions.

Are considered existing and new methods of gaugings of longitudinal and microprofile – of the big sites of roads in the course of the vehicle movement, based on gaugings of longitudinal discharge angles of the vehicle, speedups sprung and unsprung mass and their mathematical transformation in package MatLab/Simulink are offered. On the basis of them registration longitudinal and microprofile of 5 types of roads is spent. The analysis of their characteristics on parametres of conveyances, speeds, to speedups in 1.3 octave strips of frequencies is made. It is offered to estimate flatness of road on speed of change of biases in a strip of 0,16–0,4 Hz: to 0,15 sm/s – roads with small biases, to 0,25 sm/s – small, to 0,3 sm/s – averages, over 0,4 sm/s – big. Quality of a microprofile is expensive to estimate expediently on a spectrum squared magnitude speeds of a microprofile in 1/3 octave strips of 6,3–12,6 Hz:  to 4 sm/with – roads of excellent quality, to 6 sm/with – high quality roads, to 8 sm/with – roads of satisfactory high quality, over 10 sm/with – bad.

Abstract
At present, world practice has thousands of kilometers of roads built or restored using black-mastic mixtures, which indicates a gradual displacement of traditional types of asphalt concrete in the construction of protective and structural layers of road surfaces. At the same time, crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete, as more durable and resistant to intensive climatic and transport impacts, has particularly proven itself on the most difficult sections of roads. In the process of monitoring the performance of coatings, unique statistical data were collected, the analysis of which allowed specialists not only to establish requirements for mixtures, but also to evaluate the actual performance properties of SMA in comparison with conventional asphalt concrete in terms of resistance to the formation of ruts and cracks, reduction of evenness, manufacturability and other factors. The article discusses the possibility of using recycled granules of old asphalt concrete in SMA, using reinforcing additives and anti-aging compositions for bitumen. The materials of the work of countries of the European Union and the United States over the past decade are given.

Abstract
Road monitoring is the most important method for assessing the technical condition of all road structures, including road pavements and road surfaces. Monitoring helps to solve the problem of maintaining the strength of the pavement. However, for a long time it was carried out visually by workers of road maintenance organizations. Receiving timely information about the damage and destruction of pavements, road organizations, however, could not reasonably plan repair work and, most importantly, accurately determine their volume and complexity. The solution to these problems was uncertain. The increase in traffic intensity on the roads, the increase in the speed of cars and their mass, and the high level of accidents required obtaining specific quantitative information. The result was the emergence of instrumental methods and special equipment for assessing the technical condition of pavements – strength, friction coefficient, and others. Another result was the disappearance of a visual method for diagnosing road structures and objects. But under conditions of high traffic intensity on roads, high cost of instrumental appraisal works, there was a practice of conducting instrumental surveys on a systematic basis, and before carrying out major repair or reconstruction work, moreover, as a justification of the need for them. As a result, many of the damage and the onset of the destruction of pavements and pavements were unnoticed, which subsequently greatly increased the cost of repairs. Under these conditions, it is proposed to resume the practice of visual monitoring of roads together with instrumental methods for evaluating their technical condition. As an example justifying this, the article deals with the question of the destruction of asphalt concrete pavements caused by the fatigue of asphalt concrete. Fatigue of asphalt concrete is manifested in the form of grids of short narrow cracks, which for a long time do not affect the evenness of the roadway surface and therefore are not recorded by instrumental methods. The vibration factor that contributes to (often initiating) the appearance of fatigue damage of asphalt concrete is experimentally considered, the energy level of road vibration vibrations is estimated.

Abstract
The problems of teaching the basics of quantum physics to students of modern engineering universities in the conditions of "rigid time frames" provided by the discipline program "Concepts of modern natural science (CSE)"are discussed. The strict time limits established for the study of the KSE do not allow us to consider the basic elements of classical and modern physics even in a relatively complete volume, which reliably provides an understanding of the fundamentally important "key" aspects of the "KSE". Taking into account the personal experience of the authors associated with the "inclusion" of elements of quantum mechanics in the structure of the discipline "KSE", allows us to offer the attention of stakeholders a possible course plan "KSE" with the inclusion of elements of quantum mechanics.

Abstract
During the formation of the higher military school of the Russian defense Ministry, the main task of military training centers is to increase the quality of military training of students. The solution requires switching from methodology as a teaching method to methodology as a teaching on the organization of activities, to the development and implementation of methods of complex training of officers, sergeants, rank and file with the use of complex tactical and special training tasks. In the period of formation of the growing influence of personality factor, which requires the transition from a student-centered to pedagogic approach. Using the psycho-diagnostics and correlation analysis investigated the effect of social interactions of students in the military training center in MADI programme officers and sergeants of the stock. The reliability and validity of the results were tested with the use of correlation analysis and the hypothesis of the relationship between the varying characteristics of the centers at MADI and HSE (2018), military departments at universities of St. Petersburg (2004). It is established, the uniform base of completing-a condition for growth of quality of military training of the students trained according to programs of officers and sergeants of a stock. Norms and values of the individual have a dominant influence on their social relations. Conscious choice of military training actualizes the quality of the individual: discipline, expanding horizons, getting the skill of the head, the acquisition of experience with people, the development of the state of citizenship ‒ patriotism. The state of cohesion of the training group is a factor in the education of the individual on the basis of value orientations and values inherent in reserve officers and sergeants. The influence of status and income factors in the decision of students to serve under the contract by those who did not think about the question of conscription into the armed forces. The influence of the activities of the teaching staff on the Outlook of students is demonstrated: about a third of students enrolled in the programs of reserve officers and about a quarter of reserve sergeants form their attitude to the military profession in the process of military training (the attitude has improved). MADI students have a high readiness to defend the Fatherland, to conscription, a higher interest in military training, but less expressed confidence in themselves, the ability to protect the norms of behavior, which requires educational work, which is based on the data obtained in the systematic study of their psychological state, cohesion of educational groups.

Abstract

Due to the penetration of moisture and harmful impurities from the air the conditions for the development of electrochemical corrosion appear on the surface of the cars.

The article discusses the experimental results obtained by students in the study of the surface of the car for the presence of corrosion damage. Methods of non-destructive testing of corrosion state of the surface are well known: ultrasonic flaw detection, acoustic emission, radiography, thermography, electrical resistance method, etc.

Students got acquainted with the method of recognition of sub-film corrosion on the surface of the car with the help of a thermal imager, whose work is based on obtaining a thermal image in the infrared region of the spectrum without direct contact with the metal sample under study. The method allows to quantify the surface area of the metal sample exposed to corrosion.

The article also presents the calculations of the spring suspension of the car, based on knowledge of the laws of physics, namely, Hooke's law.

The article presents the results of a study of the parameters of High-voltage Electric Arc, performed on the assembled in the laboratory installation. It is a study of these parameters dependence on the conditions of High-voltage Electric Arc combustion in different gas media, at different pressures, in the magnetic field and in the candle flame. It is shown that the gas medium affects the ignition time of the High-voltage Electric Arc and the stability of its combustion. The greatest stability of combustion and the shortest ignition time of High-voltage Electric Arc are observed at reduced pressure. In inert gas, the combustion stability is also quite long, however the ignition time is longer than at reduced pressure. For gas mixtures, the shortest ignition time of High-voltage Electric Arc corresponds to the presence of oxygen in the gas medium. The magnetic field superimposed on the High-voltage Electric Arc reveals the arc deviation to one of the poles of the magnet, which proves the electromagnetic nature of the High-voltage Electric Arc. The flame of the candle increases the number of plasma flashes. The article presents the scope of High-voltage Electric Arc.

Abstract
The research was conducted within project work of students in the course of physics studying. The basis for the problem definition is the widespread use of microwave (a very high frequency) radiation both in everyday life, and in the industry. Theoretical bases of receiving and practical use of microwave radiation are studied. According the selected scheme a device for receiving microwave radiation is made. Rules of safety during work under microwave radiation are studied. Water, electroluminescent lamp and semiconductor radio receiver are selected as the objects of study. The dependence of the boiling time of water on the distance to the source of microwave radiation is established. The possibility of burning of the electro luminescent lamp in the conditions of microwave radiation is shown and the dependence of burning brightness on the distance to a microwave radiation source is found. It is shown that as a result of the influence of microwave radiation on a semiconductor radio receiver, its operation deteriorates or stops (up to complete destruction) depending on the distance to the source of microwave radiation.

The article discusses the achievements and contributions to the development of classical thermodynamics of S. Carnot and B. Сlapeyron. It is shown that, based on misconceptions about the nature of heat, using a number of analogies, S. Carnot was able to obtain the correct phenomenological theory of an ideal heat engine. The published book and diaries of S. Carnot allow us to state that for the first time he formulated not only the second, but also the first law of thermodynamics. The merit of B. Сlapeyron is the further development of the ideas of S. Carnot. Based on the original sources, the article draws attention to the discrepancy between the names of well-known laws and the authors who discovered them for the first time. The united gas law was first obtained by S. Carnot. Сlapeyron used this law in his work, but he did not introduce anything new into it.
