Today, the anti-lock braking system is actively used in modern cars. In the article we will consider the device and the principle of operation of the ABS, as well as conduct full-scale tests and compare the braking process with and without the use of this system.

Abstract

The article considers the possibility of using wheels made using airless tire technology on vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The types and variants of wheels made according to the technology of airless tires are considered. The results of the analysis of the main characteristics of airless tires are presented, the main advantages and disadvantages of using airless tires relative to pneumatic analogues are indicated. The main tactical and technical characteristics of official passenger cars used in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation are studied. The load index of each wheel and axles of the passenger cars under consideration is calculated. The prospects of transferring service vehicles to wheels made using airless tire technology are analyzed. The analyzed conclusion is presented on the expediency and relevance of the further phased development of the technology of open-type airless tires.

Abstract

In the process of cleaning public roads, the snow layer is mixed with reagents, dust, small debris and pollution. As a result, the adhesion in the resulting mixture to the surface of the metal dumps increases significantly. The resistance to shear of the snow mass along the surface of the dump increases. An increase in temperature on surfaces under negative temperatures leads to the formation of a thin layer of water at the border between surroundings. It is assumed that heating the dump with the exhaust gases from the machine will significantly reduce the adhesion of snow on its surface and create a thin water film, leading to a decrease in the friction force when the snow mass moves along the dump. The article proposes a practical application of the exhaust gas heating system for the dump The question of the influence of the time of heap heating with applied heating from exhaust gasses system forming water firm at the interface are considered.

Abstract

Taking into account the increasingly urgent issues of environmental protection, measures aimed at reducing the toxicity of exhaust gases of piston engines while increasing reliability, as well as reducing the metal intensity and theirs cost, are especially important. The designs of modern engines with variable valve distribution phases make it possible to increase the proportion of neutral combustion products in the working mixture without using an external recirculation system. But in this case, is required some objective indicator to assess the degree of internal recirculation. As such, the use of the proportion of residual gases in the working mixture is proposed. To find it, it is necessary to analyze the processes of gas exchange (and therefore to calculate the duty cycle of the engine) basing on the ratios of the partial volumes of the components of the working mixture.

The article outlines the basics of the proposed approach and presents the results of the first experimental determination of the degree of internal recirculation.

The publication presents a method of partially automated selection of the coefficients of the PID controller. The proposed methodology was developed by students within the framework of the optional academic discipline "Improving the workflow of a gasoline engine using electronic control" conducted at the Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University MADI.

Abstract

A comparative computational analysis of the partameters of the boosted D200 diesel engine having an average brake effective pressure of 2.7 MPa with one-stage and two-stage turbocharging systems has been carried out. Turbochargers for the first and second stages of the turbocharging system were selected. The calculations were performed using the model of the diesel engine 4-stroke cycle developed at MADI. The fuel efficiency results are similar with both turbocharging systems. For the two-stage turbocharging system, higher values of boost pressure, excess air ratio and lower boost air temperature were obtained. There were prospects for further power augmentation of the diesel engine with the two-stage turbocharging system, while the diesel engine with the one-stage system practically could not have any more power.

Abstract

The paper features simulation of the operation parameters of the high boosted 12-cylinder medium-speed diesel engine with cylinder bore 185 mm and stroke 285 mm having the break mean effective pressure 2.7 MPa at the rated operation mode. Since the maximum combustion pressure exceeded the limiting value of 22 MPa, the possibilities of its reduction using the turbine bypass of the exhaust gases and retarding of the ignition advance angle were analyzed. A combination of these two methods was chosen, in which the maximum combustion pressure decreased from 30 to 22 MPa and the minimal growth of the brake specific effective fuel consumption was obtained. The brake specific effective fuel consumption increased by 5 g/kWh, though due to a high mechanical efficiency of the high boosted diesel engine, it had a low value of 190 g/kWh.

The publication presents the results of the development of a PID controller for controlling the pressure in a common rail type fuel system battery. The development process consists of the following stages: algorithm development in the ETAS ASCET software development environment, testing and preliminary calibration of the algorithm on a fuel battery model, preparation of the algorithm for its application in the fuel stand control system controller.

Abstract

The article discusses the possibility of increasing the speed of the pressure regulator in the high-pressure fuel pump of the Common Rail system in order to reduce the pressure pulsation. A more stable pressure in the fuel accumulator allows achieving accurate and uniform cyclic feed through the cylinders, which in turn is necessary to achieve high environmental and economic indicators. The influence of the pressure regulator speed on the pressure fluctuation range in the fuel accumulator is estimated. It is shown that with an increase in the operating speed of the injection pump, the efficiency of maintaining a stable pressure decreases. Actions have been developed to improve the efficiency of the pressure regulator in regulation and positive tests have been obtained in practical tests of a complete fuel system.

Abstract

The article reveals the actual aspects of the digital economy. With its appearance, people form new habits, needs, and the structure of the spheres of the state changes. Therefore, it is logical that the government developed and adopted the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" in 2019. The digital ecosystem will ensure the transition of enterprises to digital document management, connect customers and process participants through a common platform, create a new product through common efforts. In the article, the authors examined crowdinvesting and crowdfunding platforms. The first are projects for investment; the second are projects of social, creative, charitable orientation. The article highlights and describes another trend - online transfers and payments. As a consequence of this trend, the authors describe the creation of a trial model of the digital ruble. In conclusion, the article names the problems and threats that the digitalization of the economy carries.

Abstract

The influence of the institutional environment on the employment of the population is considered, the features of the Russian labor market model are revealed. The main sources of effective development and functioning of the state are investigated. A study of macroeconomic indicators of the labor market for 2010-2020 was conducted. The objectives of the state economic policy in the field of employment promotion are defined and systematized. The features of employment and unemployment are analyzed, the dynamics and structure of the economically active population, its gender profile, the effects of agglomeration are considered, and the segmentation of the Russian labor market is assessed. It is proved that the current situation in the labor market of the Russian Federation can lead to a significant shortage of labor and a slowdown in economic growth. The logical result of the study was the conclusion that overcoming shocks and achieving macroeconomic equilibrium will allow the formation of a developed labor market in Russia, eliminate its regional imbalances and solve the problems of ensuring employment and employment of the population.
