FORMATION OF ROAD COATING PROFILE OF «COMB» TYPE

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of irregularity of road covering actual in our country, providing statistical data based on a survey of the population. The reasons for the formation of road irregularities of the “Comb” type are explained, the physical processes occurring during the movement of vehicles on roads with an earth and gravel surface are considered, experimental confirmation of the “Comb” formation is given. Mathematical models of the description of this phenomenon are described, on the basis of which the parameters of the forming “Comb” are calculated for a specific car model. A number of recommendations are proposed for car drivers when driving on the road with irregularities like “Comb”.
