INNOVATIVE PROCESSES AS A FACTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article considers innovations as the main factor of the socio-economic development of the national economy. Particular attention is paid to innovation processes in the transport industry, the existing definitions of the concept of innovation and innovation in the transport industry. The examples of the introduction of innovative technologies on trucks are given. The positive aspects of the impact of innovative technologies on the efficiency of freight transportation are noted. Analyzed the impact of innovation processes on the development of transport. Considering innovations from the point of view of economics, it should be noted that economic development has a certain dialectic nature, it is shaped by the improvement of scientific and technological progress, but also its result leads to an increase in technological development. It was concluded that innovative technologies, including digital, are the main tools with which to modernize the transport industry. One of the factors of this relationship is that Russia has vast territories and transport services covering the entire territory of the country.
