INFLUENCE OF DIMENSIONS OF BRIDGE CONSTRUCTIONS ON TRAFFIC SAFETY
Abstract
In article the question about influence of carriageway’s dimensions of bridge constructions on traffic safety is considered. The analysis of the road accidents on bridge constructions of the federal roads which are under authority of Federal management of the highways "Central Russia" is done. Also calculation of coefficient of the relative accident rate for bridges with a particular dimension in general for all network of roads of Federal management of the highways "Central Russia" is made. As a result, dependence of coefficient of the relative accident rate on a bridge dimension on two-band roads is removed.
