THE PROBLEM OF THE RATIONAL AND THE IRRATIONAL IN EDUCATIONAL POLICY AS A PROBLEM OF ENDS AND MEANS

Abstract

Rational choice of the direction of educational policy and recovery from the global crisis in education is a choice based on the recognition of the knowability of the purposes and means of further development of education in accordance with the global goals facing humanity at the present stage. The phenomenon of the irrationality causes the replacement of the higher goals of education (Human development), including bureaucracy and formalism.
