SELF-WORK AS A FORM OF CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL AND COGNITIVE ACTIVITY FOR FUTURE ENGINEERS

Abstract

It was found that the students' self-work directed on execution of the vocational-oriented tasks and projects as well as the preparation of reports and their presentation at student's scientific conferences is the integral component of pedagogical technology used for future engineers’ identity formation. Students’ self-work is a form of organization of subject-oriented educational-cognitive activity. It is considered as one of the effective methods for motivation to responsible and personally-meaningful learning, to professional self-determination and creative development of individuality. The fundamental importance of the discipline "Physics" during teaching students and transformation them into competitive engineers is underlined.
