CHALLENGES OF DOING BUSINESS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of doing business in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic for enterprises of the automotive industry. The article details the work of car dealerships and salons in the context of the pandemic, provides statistics on the structure of sales of passenger cars in Russia until 2019, 2020 by federal districts, and also provides statistics on sales of passenger cars in Europe: in Germany, France, Great Britain, and Italy. The data on the analysis for the best-selling brands in the Russian Federation are given. The material of the article describes the financial difficulties of car dealerships and car service stations during the pandemic in conditions of economic uncertainty.
