SUBSTANTIATION OF THE MIDDLE DEPTH OF FROZEN SOIL AT ROAD-CLIMATIC ZONING OF THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN FOR DESIGN OF PAVEMENTS

Abstract

On the instructions of the State Committee for Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, MADI specialists began the development of an organization standard for standard designs of flexible pavements for regional and intermunicipal roads. The length of the roads of the regional or inter-municipal Republic of Bashkortostan is 13665.1 km or 28.28% of all public roads located on its territory.

When developing projects for the construction and reconstruction of roads in the Republic of Bashkortostan, they rely largely on internal territorial regulatory documents. In the design task, the Customer has the right to indicate the list of those regulatory documents in accordance with which the design of the road should be performed, including the pavements. Territorial building codes on climatology are applied in practice, containing significantly more detailed information about climatic factors than is described in other regulatory documents.
