‘SYNERGY’ AS A NEW VECTOR OF ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article examines the prerequisites for the organization and running of the International Networking Applied Research Conference 'Interdisciplinarity in the Engineering Education: Global trends and administration models – Synergy' that was held in seven cities of Russia and Kazakhstan in April-June 2016. The results of this conference are analyzed. This meaningful event highlights the diversification of the forms of partnership between the state and private sector in the sectors of education and science: the well known Russian industrial joint stock corporation "Gazprom" became the general sponsor of the conference and one of its most engaged participants.
