COMMUNICATION AS A WAY OF UNDERSTANDING (BASED ON THE PHILOSOPHICAL HERMENEUTICS OF H.-G. GADAMER)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of contemporary forms of understanding in communication. The author seeks to examine communication in the modern world as multilateral and multilevel process, in which the language of communication, matatiki and language objects, as well as additional means of communication (empathy, assertiveness, body language, context, communication, etc.) are used as amplifiers of understanding, inseparably accompanying the process of communication. For analysis of the origins of the modern theory of understanding in communications, the author refers to the founder of philosophical hermeneutics H.-G. Gadamer [1], the researcher of the ontological nature of the language of M. Heidegger [2], theorist of language, L. Wittgenstein [3], research in the field of transactional analysis [4]. The author presents an understanding not only included in the cultural-historical tradition [1] and a certain linguistic context [4], but also depends on modern forms of communication. The author comes to the conclusion that modern communication involves new ways and means of expression of sense and happens in the context of communication with the outside world, and in the process of self-awareness or in-game communication when creating new virtual worlds.
