CONCEPT OF MODALITY IN MODERN WESTERN-EUROPEAN ENGLISH LINGUISTICS BASED ON VARIATIONS IN MODAL MEANING OF MAY IN TWO TYPES OF PROFESSIONAL DISCOURSE
Abstract
The article deals with variations in modal meaning manifested by may in two types of professional discourse. The resulting conclusions alongside with may usage examples are addressed to future engineers studying professional translation in the course of “Translator in the Sphere of Professional Communication”.
