«Smart urban transport» as an effective tool for traffic flow management
Abstract
The rapid development of technology and technology has led to significant changes in all areas of the economy, including urban transport. One of the main objectives of technological innovations in the field of urban transport is to increase the mobility of the population, create comfortable conditions for city residents and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Intelligent urban transport systems are able to adapt to changes in traffic flow and improve the overall efficiency of urban transport systems, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions, optimizing traffic flows and maximizing their efficiency by working with real-time information. The article describes the construction and operation principle of the smart urban transport system as one of the areas of implementation of the smart transport concept in the context of a smart city. The positive effects of creating a smart urban transport system are being considered.
