Studying the peculiarities of the influence of various planning conditions on the condition of drivers

Abstract

The research article is devoted to experimental studies of driver's attention distribution depending on the lane width, as well as the influence on the levels of aggression, stress and thinking activity. The correct assignment of speed mode taking into account the geometric conditions of the road allows to increase the comfort of driving. To conduct the study, international and domestic experience of conducting experiments investigating driver perception and attention during driving was analyzed. The goals and objectives of the experiment, the procedure for conducting the experiment, the list of necessary equipment and the number of respondents were determined.  The research was conducted on the basis of the MADI-1 PFM research complex and eye-tracking systems. On the result of the experiment, recommendations are formulated on the assignment of the speed mode depending on the changes in the geometric parameters of the road.
