In addition, the adopted characteristics of the properties of road-building materials ensure compliance of design solutions with the requirements of regulatory documents. One of the main characteristics of sand is the filtration coefficient used in calculating pavements for drainage ability. The sand filtration coefficient is determined by the method described in the state standard. An important production problem is formulated about the possibility of reducing the sand filtration coefficient after the mechanical impact of construction equipment on them, which can lead to a violation of the drainage ability of pavements. A study of the properties of sand at the construction sites of the Moscow road network was organized.
