Занятия по иностранному языку в неязыковых вузах у студентов часто ассоциируются со скучным процессом чтения специальной литературы. Язык не воспринимается как дополнительный источник образования в культурном и профессиональном плане. Под воздействием лингвострановедческого аспекта на занятиях по иностранному языку у студентов появляется желание узнавать как можно больше о культуре страны изучаемого языка, о проживающих в ней людях, их характере и национальных особенностях.

The foreign languages’ lessons in a non-specialized language university for students are often associated with a dull process of professional as well as special literature’s reading. The language is not perceived by them as an additional source of education in the cultural and professional terms, but using it in a country’s lingo studying aspect at the foreign language lessons, the students get a wish to learn as much as they can about the culture of the country’s learning language, about the people living in it, its character and their national peculiarities.
