В статье представлен обзор системы профессиональной подготовки специалистов в области техники, технологий и инженерного дела в вузах Канады. Рассмотрены основные требования к программам бакалавриата инженерно-технических направлений, особенности учебных планов, основные трудности, с которыми сталкиваются преподаватели высшей технической школы в Канаде.

The article gives an overview of professional training of engineers in the system of higher education in Canada. There considered general requirements for undergraduate engineering programs, curricular peculiarities, challenges imposed upon educators of engineers in Canada.
