В статье рассматривается период становления отрасли автомобилестроения в СССР до 1938 г.: строительство и реконструкция автомобильных заводов, формирование рабочих кадров различной квалификации. Учтено влияние смежных отраслей хозяйства, а также научных исследований на производство автомобилей в промышленных масштабах. Приведено сравнение количества выпускаемых автомобилей в СССР и странах Европы в рассматриваемый период.

In this article investigated the period of formation of automotive industry in the USSR until 1938: the construction and reconstruction of automobile plants, formation of personnel of various qualification. Investigated influence of allied industries of economy, and the scientific researches on industrial production of cars. Specified the number of the released cars in USSR by years. Made comparison of number of the released cars is given in the USSR and the countries of Europe during the considered period.
