Они устанавливаются на дорогах общего пользования и предназначены для контроля весовых и габаритных характеристик проезжающих автомобилей. Данные системы развиваются и модифицируются в течение продолжительного периода времени, однако до сих пор имеют большое количество недостатков и проблем. Главные проблемы этих систем связаны с их высокой чувствительностью к управляющим воздействиям водителей на взвешиваемое транспортное средство. При изменении параметров движения анализируемого автомобиля данные системы перестают справляться с возложенной на них задачей. В данной работе была предложена принципиально новая архитектура системы WIM, которая основывается на методе платформенном взвешивания автомобилей в движении. Разработанная система полностью лишена недостатков и проблем, используемых на сегодняшний день систем WIM.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Today, WIM systems are widely used all over the world. They are installed on public roads and are designed to monitor the weight and dimensions of passing vehicles. These systems have been developed and modified over time, but they still have many drawbacks and issues. The main problems with these systems are related to their high sensitivity to the drivers' control over the vehicle being weighed. When the driving parameters of the vehicle being analyzed change, these systems become unable to perform their intended function. In this work, a fundamentally new architecture of the WIM system was proposed, which is based on the method of platform weighing of vehicles in motion.
