Показано, что при конвертации дизеля в газовый двигатель из-за снижения степени сжатия увеличиваются параметры системы наддува. Для каждого двигателя подобран оптимальный турбокомпрессор. Получено, что на номинальном режиме дизель и газодизель имеют близкий эффективный КПД, у газового двигателя на бедной смеси он снижается на 9,3%, а на стехиометрической – на 13,9%. Рассчитана стоимость дизельного топлива и природного газа за единицу выделяемой теплоты и показано, что с учетом изменения эффективного КПД на номинальном режиме по сравнению с дизелем расходы на топливо газодизеля снижаются в 2,36 раза, газового двигателя на бедной смеси – в 2,33 раза, а газового двигателя на стехиометрической смеси – в 2,21 раза.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Using the MADI model for calculating the 4-stroke cycle of  IC engine, the change in the effective performance of a diesel engine when it is converted into gas diesel engine and gas engines operating on lean and stoichiometric mixtures is analyzed. It is shown that when converting a diesel engine to a gas engine, the parameters of its boost system increase due to a decrease in the compression ratio. The optimal turbocharger was selected for each engine. It was found that in a rated mode, diesel and gas-diesel engines have a close effective efficiency, in a gas engine on a lean mixture it decreases by 9.3%, and in a stoichiometric one - by 13.9%.
